This Website 😄

Creating and designing this website has been a rewarding journey. I built everything from scratch, writing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code to bring my vision to life. The homepage required me to strengthen my JavaScript skills for interactive elements, while the entire project served as practical application of user-centered design principles. Throughout development, I focused on core web fundamentals like accessibility, performance optimization, and responsive layouts. The deployment process taught me valuable lessons about hosting options and domain management, completing my end-to-end web development experience. Each challenge helped me develop new CSS skills, particularly with modern layout techniques like FlexBox.

I learned the basics of deployment using Vercel and Squarespace and was able to focus on creating a product and plan to continue to update it as my life updates.

Schmonion 🧅, a new take on pomodoro timers and task management.

Currently in the process of developing a small web application designed to allow people to follow pomodoro time management practices while working in a group. We have done initital concept designs and some basic wireframing along with designing a database.

Personal Research

I am deeply passionate about how women are affected by technology and am currently doing research relating to women's health and the impact of digital health systems. I hope to find more time this summer to begin a research study under the direction of Vineet Pandey at the University of Utah.
